My son has been raised and gone on in this life. My prayer is that through this ministry of children’s stories, all children will be nourished with God’s Word so they live productive Christlike lives and, on that Great Day, will see our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Author
Cynthia A. Woods is the mother of one. She is number eight of nine children – the youngest girl of five. She is God-fearing, with a determination to run and finish a good race. Cynthia obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and later furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Science in Counseling, giving her a way to interact with people from all walks of life. After fourteen and a half years of providing direct mental health care, she left the profession to go and “do some churching,” as her daddy would say.
Working in the helping profession from 1996 to 2022, it became plain for her to see that sometimes all it takes for a person to be able to hold on and press on is you showing up. Do it while you still have time.
